The Team

Me. I am 47 years old and from Northolt in West London. I’ve lived in Raunds , Northamptonshire since 2001. I originally trained as a carpenter and joiner, and worked in the building industry for ten years. I then moved into restoring classic VW camper vans. I started to work and train as a dog behaviourist in 2003. I soon realised that I had inadvertantly been learning about dog psychology since I had my first dog at 8 years old; my awesome red setter called Copper.

George
My right hand man. George is my 10 year old Boxer / Staffie cross. An amazing boy with incredible instincts. Anything I miss or need to know then he will find out for me. I found him in a rescue shelter as a nine month old obnoxious, boisterous and extremely high ranked boy. He’s been one of the biggest challenges of my life. The most difficult dog I’ve ever met. Because of this, he’s taught me hundreds of times more than I could ever get from books and studies.
George has become an invaluable part of my team and an amazing roll model. He’s also a great advocate for this much misunderstood breed type. I’m very lucky to have him and work with him and I’m honoured to have him as my mentor and friend.

Arnie
My old faithful friend. Arnie will be the grand old age of 18 this year. He’s a Jack Russell / Staffie cross. I found him at Wood Green back in 2003 as a very scared and nervous insecure lad: he was frightened of everything. After lots of hard work and patience Arnie has become a confident, happy go lucky, reliable little lad who over 14 years, has taught me so much invaluable dog knowledge. Arnie was my inspiration to work with dogs and help people to understand them better. I’m very proud of him and proud and honoured to be his leader and friend.

Titan
My other hired help. Titan is 5 year old blue Staffie. He belongs to my good friends Pui and Frenchy who I got to know three years ago when they called me in to help with this boisterous, troublesome young boy. They worked hard to help him reach his potential and I feel privileged that they allowed him to join my team. He’s my medium to high ranked dog who seems to know when to play, stand his ground or just ignore. He has great instincts and is still learning. A great lad to be around and a real character.

Jack, AKA Doof
My big gentle black lab. Jack’s 5 years old now and belongs to my friend Tracy, who is good enough to lend me her boy to help me in my work. He has great instincts and can be 100% trusted in all situations and gives me superb and reliable dog info. He’s George’s best mate and has been mentored by him from nine weeks old. Just a truly awesome and lovely boy.
